Prepare to Log the Planet....
Travel Log Travel LogWe arrived in Los Angeles and tried to get used to the radical difference that we met. Leaving India was not easy and we really missed it. India is a hard act to follow, and the San Fernando Valley was not the best candidate for the job. Los Angeles In L.A. we did some of the normal tourist stuff, like Disneyland and California Adventure. But we also went to the Renaissance Faire, which was great, and hiked around the hills south of the Valley. We also saw the play the Lion King and went a few Dodgers Games. We also spent some time in Santa Monica and downtown, but for the most part we just relaxed and plan our continued trip. It was the first place that we were glad to get out of since we started travelling. Our travels took us north through Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe and Mt. Shasta. We loved every one of those stops and spent about a month enroute. Oregon Our first stop in Oregon was Crater Lake. Spectacular. Worth going out of the way to see. The kids played in the snow and we all were mezmerized by the colors of the lake. We then spent five days in Portland and got to love the place.
